As some of you may have noticed, we have undergone a lot of changes, some obvious and others not so much. After much consideration and review, I wanted to deliver a better experience for all of our players and give everyone the opportunity to obtain everything we have to offer at SquirtleSquadMC. The most important is that we have completely eliminated any Pay to Win (P2W) opportunities from our store and the server and do an uplift of several areas of our spawn and the chat.
All crates have undergone a complete rework to give all players the opportunity to obtain the higher crate keys and rewards. Kits have also undergone slight modifications, which you can check in game doing /kits. The vote party now yields an hour-long boost to shiny spawns and double EXP for the entire server, $1000 in-game money, a random egg, and a random shiny for all online players.
In our effort to remove P2W aspects from our server, our first priority was to enhance the Pixelmon experience for our regular players: the new Trainer+ Rank. This rank can be bought with in-game money, with the only requirements being 3 days of playtime and $250,000, by doing /trainer+. This rank comes with the /pc command, the ability to create a player warp, a custom daily kit, and 4 homes. /Playtime now has an hourly pay for active players, so you can earn passive income just for playing on the server! We have also regenned the Ultra Space and halved Legend spawns to give newer players a chance to reap the benefits of the unique rewards these bring. To reduce clutter and reward hard working players, Player Warps are now restricted to players with the Trainer+ rank and above. Player warps have undergone a cleaner update, which can be viewed in /pwarp help.
New items and places have been added to the server: A Premium Mine warp has been added for all players ranked Ace and above, which also has its own unlimited Blissey training and a mine with unique, requested ores from our Supporters in the Discord. Every region for the gyms has been added to the Battleplaza, allowing you to earn more income and earn your gym badges. We have also added an Event Shop to the PokeMart, which allows you to spend the newly minted Squad Points earned in events now, giving you all the option to pick your own rewards! Lastly, our Pokemon Modifiers, a step up from the previous Pokebuilder experience, allows for individual customization of nearly every aspect your Pokemon may have, and are all obtainable in the store, crates, or as rewards.
As of right now, the Shrine area has been completely redone, and currently in progress is a complete redoing of the Casino/Game Corner. This was to make it more open, accessible, and enjoyable for our players, including adding more games for the GC. The Battlepass is soon to be completely revamped with one-of-a-kind rewards, as well as the introduction of PokeJobs, and will be in a future announcement. We are currently having a last hoorah for our Summer Custom Textures, which will be taken out of the server and store on tomorrow, 09/21, and adding our Fall Textures in on Thursday. https://store.squirtlesquadmc.com/category/crates
A lot of changes have happened and you all have been amazing with adjusting to the changes with little fuss. I truly hope to deliver to this awesome community a server that everyone can enjoy, and keep it balanced to reward the active players who contribute their time and their support, in game or out.
